Community Nutrient Management Facilities Grant

This grant opportunity is unique to Georgia NRCS. The purpose of the grant is to demonstrate the benefits of transferring poultry litter from areas of high concentration of poultry litter to areas of lower concentration of poultry litter for proper land application. Community Nutrient Management Facilities will be constructed for this purpose. There is $342,000 cost-share available which NRCS estimates will fund three facilities.
