Floodplain Management Studies

Click map to link to larger interactive map

Floodplain management studies are special location studies that will increase the awareness of flood losses or potential losses in a rural community and agricultural area.  They provide information and assistance to local and state entities so they can implement programs for reducing existing and potential flood damages.  Assistance is targeted to rural communities where flooding is a serious concern and where local governments are interested in taking actions to reduce present and future damages.
