| | Groundwater Recharge
Groundwater recharge includes the measures installed to recharge
aquifers. Groundwater practices may be needed in areas where there is an
identified shortage of groundwater. Practices include storage of water in impoundments,
injection wells, recharge devices along natural watercourses by diversion, or
other water-spreading techniques.
