Public Recreation

Public recreation includes measures installed to provide opportunities for the general public to participate in water-based recreational activities.  Water-based recreation can be a project objective and federal cost-share assistance may be available to help develop public recreational facilities.  Recreation may be one of several objectives of multi-purpose reservoirs.
