Georgia Climate Data

The following data files are available for downloading for use in NRCS computer programs. Each file is formatted a special way for a specific program.  The data in the files was generated from Georgia's network of weather stations and from NOAA Technical Paper 40.  These files are intended to for use on NRCS conservation practices in Georgia.  

To download the files, right click on the filename and select Save Link As.. or Save Target As... and overwrite the existing file.

This data file is formatted for use with the Pond Design Program and the EFH2 Program.  county.ga (11 KB) contains Georgia's 24-hour storm data for the following recurrence intervals:  1-year, 2-year, 5-year, 10-year, 25-year, 50-year, and 100-year.

This data file is formatted for use with version 2.0 of the Animal Waste Management Software.  Microsoft Access iconawm_data.mdb (4.7 MB)  includes Georgia climate data.  This file is intended to for use on NRCS conservation practices in Georgia.

This document requires Microsoft Excel.  Microsoft Excel icongaclimate.xls (108 KB) contains a summary of Georgia climate data.
